Social Media coordinator
Full Time/Part Time: Part Time, 20 hrs/week.
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt
Working Hours: 10-2pm PT Monday-Friday.
Any additional hours can be flexible so long as meetings are attended and deadlines are met.
Compensation: $22-24/hourly DOE

Job Summary
As the Social Media Coordinator, you will support the Social Media Manager in executing client social media strategies by managing scheduling, engagement, and reporting tasks. This role plays a critical part in delivering timely content, maintaining audience engagement, and ensuring seamless backend operations for client accounts. You’ll assist in basic community management, track metrics, and help maintain brand consistency across platforms.
Success in this role means demonstrating strong organization, responsiveness, and a proactive attitude while helping enhance social media execution for client brands.
Key RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Scheduling & Posting
Manage content calendars by scheduling approved posts across platforms.
Ensure deadlines for posting are met and coordinate rescheduling when needed.
Light copy editing to maintain voice consistency in posts.
Engagement & Social Support
Monitor social platforms for comments, messages, and tagged content.
Respond to DMs, reviews, and comments per brand voice guidelines or escalate to the Social Media Manager as needed.
Assist with responding to basic client needs and communications.
Keep Asana boards current with active promotions and campaign timelines, maintaining alignment between scheduled content and corresponding link-in-bio destinations.
Organize and maintain Dropbox folders following each photoshoot, ensuring all assets are properly labeled, sorted, and ready for use across client accounts.
Performance Tracking Assistance
Collect engagement metrics weekly to support performance reporting.
Assist in tracking growth, impressions, and other KPIs.
Review metrics alongside Social Media manager and make recommendations based on data and feedback.
Compile simple insights or highlight performance issues needing attention.
Qualifications & Ideal Fit
1+ years of social media support or coordination experience.
Strong familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Experience with scheduling tools like Later, Planoly, or Buffer.
Working knowledge of Canva; basic graphic editing skills are a plus.
Proactive communicator who is eager to learn and contribute.
Pay Transparency (California Law)
The hourly pay range for this position is $20–$25 per hour. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, location, and business needs. This range complies with California pay transparency requirements and may be adjusted for candidates outside of California.At-Will Employment
